At Inland, environmental responsibility is a daily commitment woven into the way our properties operate and the way our teams think about long‑term stewardship. This Earth Day, we’re proud to highlight the meaningful progress achieved through our recycling initiatives across Inland‑managed communities.
In 2025 alone, Inland properties successfully recycled more than 6,300 tons of material, an indicator of our operational dedication and the engagement of our residents, tenants, and partners. As many tenants and their customers want to recycle, Inland offers an opportunity to do so at numerous properties, making responsible waste management both accessible and impactful.
The environmental benefit of these efforts is substantial. According to third‑party analysis from Complete Solutions & Sourcing, the energy saved through Inland’s recycling programs is equivalent to conserving more than:
• 28 million gallons of water
• 866,000 barrels of oil
• 87,000 trees
The numbers tell a powerful story: everyday actions add up. By prioritizing responsible waste management, we reduce strain on natural resources, lower emissions, and contribute to healthier ecosystems in the communities we serve.
As we celebrate Earth Day, Inland reaffirms its commitment to expanding sustainable practices, investing in innovative solutions, and empowering those who live and work at Inland properties to join us in building a more resilient future – one recycled item at a time.
The buzz of excitement, strength, hope and community was felt far and wide on a beautiful, sunny morning at the starting line for the 2023 Walk for Wellness House.
