The 67-acre Ogden Hill Shopping Center was originally developed in 2004-2005. The site is at the gateway to Kendall County, which was the nation’s fastest growing county between 2000 and 2010. Located along Route 34, Ogden Hill Shopping Center is powered by Sam’s Club, which opened in 2014, Menard’s and JC Penney. Outlots have been sold to Walgreen’s, Sonic, Buona Beef and Goodwill Industries. The newest in-line tenants include Binny’s Beverage Depot, Dunkin Donuts and Batteries Plus.
The property is surrounded by strong demographics and is located in a heavily trafficked area that offer seven access points, with an average daily traffic amount of nearly 70,000 people. There are also three existing high schools within a 2.2-mile radius of the Ogden Hill Shopping Center totaling 8,230 students and 716 professional staff. The Rush-Copley Medical Center is also located within one mile of the shopping center and employs 1,500 personnel.
