Beginning in 2014, Inland National Development Corporation (INDC) initiated a series of transactions to acquire a portfolio of apartment properties in Wisconsin. Prior to INDC’s purchase, the properties were involved in litigation or foreclosure, which resulted in high vacancies and neglected property management. Among the acquisition, INDC acquired two apartment properties in Milwaukee, totaling 261 units. The properties were not deemed to be long-term holdings and were sold shortly after acquisition at a significant profit.
