The Place for Children with Autism

Now enrolling, The Place for Children with Autism in Lake in the Hills, IL provides full-day ABA therapy in a preschool-like environment for children with autism ages 2 – 6. Opened in May 2022, this beautiful 10,060 sq ft facility holds six classrooms, an indoor sensory gym, activities area, and two secured exterior playgrounds. Located a short distance from I-90, this center serves Lake in the Hills, Algonquin, Crystal Lake, Huntley, McHenry, Barrington, Lake Zurich, Wauconda, surrounding areas.

The Place for Children with Autism helps children reach developmental milestones by blending one-on-one therapy with group activities. The approach to applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy is rooted in science and administered with compassion. Using individualized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each child and family in our program, we are dedicated to producing positive outcomes for every client.

This facility is an excellent example of Inland National Development Company, LLC's ability to develop and build properties tailored to meet the specific needs of our clients. The property includes safe, secure and private access, separate classrooms that have been specifically designed to meet the needs of children in the six stages of early development, cameras within each of the classrooms, rounded corners throughout the hallways and classrooms and spacious, fenced-in playgrounds that have designated areas for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. Classrooms are also equipped with bathrooms designed for age-appropriate use, changing tables that face out towards the room so teachers will never have their backs to the children and plenty of access to age-appropriate technology.
