Inland’s Hurricane Preparedness

By

Hurricane season officially runs from June 1 through November 30, impacting regions across the Atlantic, Gulf Coast, and Caribbean. In the U.S., the highest risk typically occurs between mid-August and late October.

At Inland, the safety of our team members, tenants, customers, and investors is our top priority when a tropical storm or hurricane is forecasted. In advance of any major storm, Inland activates a comprehensive preparedness plan that includes:

  • Guides and resources with recommended steps to help mitigate damage, plus key hurricane-related contact information
  • Timely updates via our website and email communications detailing Inland’s storm monitoring and response efforts
  • Internal protocols and training to safeguard our people and protect our properties

Clear communication before, during, and after a storm event is essential—and is a core focus for all Inland entities.
